2014 visa stuff has absolutely nothing to do with applying for a spouse visa now. You still have to prove source of funds for a spouse visa. I did not say you have to prove investment of funds I said you have to prove Source of funds. So if you transfer from business account (which technically is rhe businesses money not yours), ukvi will expect to see where you got the money from.

Be careful though, if you have a Ltd company and have simply taken the money out to your own personal account as a straight transfer, as a Ltd company, the money is not yours, it belongs to the company.
