Hi folks,

Hopoe you are all well. Can someone please advise me ?

I am applying for my son first British passport. He was born in pakistan and arrived in the Uk with COE (RoA.

I am british mysef too.

In the online application it says that i need to send my Birth certificatle along with naturalisation certificate. (as shown in the document checklist)

But I could not find my birth certificate...So the question is : Can I submit something else like my BP instead of parent (mine) birth certificate. ?

Thanks

You must send what they ask for.

A British passport is not the same thing. It is only a travel document.

If you were born in the uk, order a copy from GRO.

If you a British through naturalisation, you only need to send your naturalisation certificate.

Thanks for the swift reply.
I was not born in the UK & i am a naturalised British Citizen.

BTW , I just paid attention and noticed that it says

For 1 of your parents . Send 1 of the following

So i think it means i need to send either Birth certificate or naturalisation certificate.thats what i get..but happy to have some input from you too just to be sure...

Also in the application form it says to choose Title which are as below :

Master
Miss
Other

Should i choose Master or Other and then enter Mr. (I am Confused)

Master
Thanks a lot for confirming.

Can you please advise what does the following means

Parents’ documents
For 1 of your parents, send 1 of the following:

full birth or adoption certificate
naturalisation or registration certificate

So does it mean i have to send only one document either birth certificate or registration certificate ?
