Children born before ILR

Post by Morobek » Mon Jan 09, 2023 10:07 pm

Apologies if this isn’t the correct place, but some links don’t seem to be working, and I was hoping for some direction- my son Was born in the UK before we obtained ILR. Which application do we apply for his registration, as I understand he doesn’t need naturalisation(he’s 2) and any idea of the fees please? I can’t seem to access after clicking links in FAQ.

£1012

Feel free to consult the guidance before making decisions. I assume child's parent has ILR and that's the way you're going.

Much appreciate- quick question regarding referees for a 2 year old? The doctors won’t provide their passport details and he hasn’t started school as yet. We’ve asked a friend of the family to be a sponsor, just wondering if we still need a second person or how lenient they are with referees for kids so young?

You need to referees. One professional and one Brit over 25 years old. Use your friends. They don't have to know your kid.
That's how far their leniency goes I think.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
