OCI Application | Minor | Notarised Birth Certificate

Post by rahulgill » Mon Jan 16, 2023 10:14 am

Hi,

I am applying for an OCI for a three months old child that is born in the UK to the parents holding British password with OCI cards.

I have read on HCI website that birth certificate of a child has to be notarised for the OCI application.
I am not sure if I have understood this correctly. It certainly wasn't the case back in 2017 when I applied OCI for my elder child.

Please can someone from their recent experience advise if this is the case?

Thanks in advance
