ILR application - travel history

Post by Jkent2022 » Mon Jan 23, 2023 9:41 pm

Hello,

We are applying for ILR for my wife under the 5 year route. Some questions ask about her travel history in the last 10 years - does this mean in the last 10 years in general (including before she moved to the UK 5 years ago), or only in the time since she moved to the UK?

Thanks

ILR - time spent outside the UK

Post by Jkent2022 » Wed Feb 01, 2023 8:38 pm

Hi all,

My wife is applying for ILR under the 5 year route, and her application has a question:

"In the last 10 years, have you spent more than 150 days outside the UK in any 12 month period."

As she has only lived in the UK for 5 years, does this question include the time before she arrived in the UK, which obviously would be more than 150 days outside the UK every one of those years?

Not sure if the question is aimed at people who are applying on a 10 year route? Have others experienced and know how to answer this question on the 5 year route?

Many thanks

No.

Which form are you completing?

Perhaps we started the wrong form. The first question was whether we were applying on the basis of her private life? Spouse visa (which she has), is different from this, right?

Thank you

ILR - bank statements

Post by Jkent2022 » Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:15 am

Hi all,

When providing 6 months of bank statements as part of an ILR application, do you know if these need to be stamped by the bank, or could they just be printed at home?

Thanks

Topics merged. Kindly keep all ILR topics in one thread in the ILR sub forum.

No, bank statements do not need to be stamped by the bank. You can use online downloaded statements.
