Hi Moderators,

I am filling the application for naturalization, and wanted to confirm a response to this specific question asked.

Question in the application: Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?

My understanding is I need to put all the applications done so far to get to ILR stage. i.e. I did 3 applications a. Entry permit for 3 years
b. Extension of Tier 2 for another 3 Years
c. ILR

Is that correct?

Please advise.

Hi Moderators,

I have a question on photos to be attached on Referees and identify for Natiralization App.

Are these photos of applicant itself? Or these are referees photos?

Not very clear on the form, but I am assuming it’s applicants only.

Yes it’s the applicant photograph.
This does cause confusion sometimes no problem.
Also ignore the instruction to write your name on the back of the photo. It’s a relic from the paper days.

Hi Moderators,

I think I may have mucked up on the date of application, hence require your immediate help.

Date of application 14th January 2023, however I was outside the UK due to paternity purposes on 14th Jan 2018. I came back to the country on 20th Feb 2018.

Does that mean I don't qualify? If yes, can I cancel my application and get full refund (I haven't had my BRP done yet).

Any other options, suggestions?
