I am really thankful to this forum, I have got Tier 1 visa without using any agent, and this website was the most helpful among all sources.
I would like to help fellow members in whatever limited time I have.

First my Visa timeline: Got Visa in 10 Working days
Applied: 13th November at VFS Bangalore
Visa stamped: 26th November
Passport received: 27th November


For simplicity of accessing officer the document [with number of pages inside bracket] were arranged in following sequence with index.

1. Personal Detail Documents:
o Passport [36]
o 2 Photographs
o Marriage certificate[1]

2. Application forms filled:
o VAF9 [9]
o PBS APPENDIX 1 [8]
o Copy of point calculator output[6]
o Integra form [3 ]

3. Educational:
o X class mark sheet [1]
o XI class mark sheet[6]
o XII class mark sheet[1]
o Bachelor degree certificate[1]
o Mark sheets covering 4 years of bachelor degree [7].

4. Earning and Bank documents
o 12 months payslips from employer [12]
o 1 letter from bank stating statement authenticity[1]
o 1 letter from bank stating maintenance fund[1]
o 15 month bank statements in 2 sets[ 7+24]
o 3 years Income tax return [3]

5. Work experience:
o 1 letter from current HR for Work experience [1].
o 1 resignation letter from previous company:[1]
o 1 Appointment letter previous company.: [4]

6. Documents from Arrangement of accommodation in Uk
