passport expiring and naturilisation application

Post by jvjroop » Wed Feb 22, 2023 10:20 am

Hi all
i am planning to apply for naturalisation for my wife and son (10 yr). We had ILR for more than a year. My sons indian passport is expiring on 15 march this year. If i make or submit application before that, will that be ok if it was expired by the time he goes for biometrics? will this be a problem?
Thanks

If passports expire during the process, i.e. after the application submission date it's not an issue.

They may need valid passport at biometrics appointment, not sure.

The biometrics are only for photo and finger prints, passport and/or BRP are for ID purposes at the meeting.
