There is no reason to be alarmed. UKVI often seeks clarifications on some evidence when processing your application. That is all
hello Zimba and other senior members
I have received the confirmation from HO that my extension application is successful. I submitted the requested documents on 22/02/2023 and got it within 1 day.

"Your application under Tier 1 Entrepreneur of the Immigration Rules has been successful."

1) I used 3 employees under kickstart scheme
2) I used multiple jobs to satisfy the job creation requirement
3) Applied on 01/09/2022 and after waiting till Jan 2023, I asked my local MP to write the HO for an update.
4) HO requested for additional documents on 23/01/2023 which were sent on 24/01/2023
5) I was interviewed on phone on 07/02/2023 for almost 30 minutes
6) HO requested for additional documents on 20/02/2023 which were sent on same day
7) HO requested for additional documents on 22/02/2023 which were sent same day
8) On 23/02/2023 received an email from HO confirming that my application is successful.
Congrats

Hi Yash,

I'm so so so happy for you, all the best.

Could you please tell me what documents you sent for the last request from HO ?

All the best for your ILR 2 years down the line

Congratulations Yash! Glad to hear your positive outcome.

If you don't mind, could I trouble you to list down the questions you were been asked during the interview please? I understand that you wont remember all but whichever you could recall please? It would be really informative.

Thanks

Hello
The questions were based on my business activity
1) Business type
2) revenue model
3) VC funding and how it was paid back
4) total number of employees

and some other general questions like business address etc

Please do not send me private messages, instead you can ask you questions here and everyone including me will try to answer your questions.
I have already shared my experience with the HO and the documents it requested me. The help which I got from here helped me so much to deal with HO and successfully getting Tier 1 and Tier 1 ext without hiring any solicitors.

Note that Tier 1E applicants and their businesses are unique and each one is quite different from the other. Interview questions on this route are strictly tailored for each applicant and their business. The experience of others does not reflect anything on your case or application. Your application experience could very well be different
I like to point out again that the experience of others may very well be totally different from yours on this route. Refrain from contacting users and harassing them for information

Hello Zimba and seniors
Please can you share your opinion on below

1) I am planning to registered myself on the payroll of my company so is it fine?

When I will go for ILR then the HO will not consider this to be withdrawal from the initial investment ?

As per the rules, now that your extension has been granted, you do not need to prove your investment again for your ILR. So there shouldn't be any issues.

But, also given that you seem to have had quite a few customers and invoices, as long as what you are paying yourself is not more than the incoming revenue, it can be assumed you are paying yourself out of the revenue rather than your investment.

Hello
Thanks for your reply.
I have so far spent close to £70K on employees salaries and around £18K on office rent since I started this company. The VC funding was £50K so using this logic I believeI have already used the funding and if I put myself on the payroll so whatever salary I will get should not be coming out of that investment.
I am also thinking of putting £100K in my company either as a Director's loan for from my other company. Please share your views on it too.
The reason of putting myself on payroll is simply to apply for mortgage after few months as I am planning to buy a house and right now paying substantial amount in rent.

I don't see any issues arising out of you being on the payroll and collecting a salary.
