Such cases can only be for ‘upgrades’. (E.g. if she was on Stamp 3 and wanted to change to Stamp 4 based on having an Irish child.)
The department cannot revoke her permission without a letter. What was the reason of refusal? If you didn’t receive one, it might have been sent to your solicitor? I remember you mentioned you paid 6k to a solicitor in a previous post a while ago.
Nobody said you can't. You just need explicit letter of approval from ISD allowing you to do this, as they don't process "downgrades" (changes from better stamp to one that is worse) routinely.Mng_two wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:21 amlittlerr wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 1:02 amShe cannot have her stamp ‘downgraded’ without approval - once she gets a Stamp 4EUFAM, she cannot just go back and says she wants a Stamp 4 as that would be a ‘downgrade’. To stamp 4 on the basis of irish child?
Do you have any official source?
Ask for it from ISD. When received, attach to online renewal form.
Nothing to say besides what was already mentioned.
It's never automatic, you do need to apply.
You have to have a total of 5 years of reckonable residence.
