Thank you.

One question I was a little uncertain about on the form.

What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK?

The 2 I narrowed down to were

Family and Settlement.

I believe the correct answer is Settlement?

Also it asks;

Other grounds for wanting to stay in the UK

Me and my wife do not have children, am I right to assume the answer is

I do not have any other reasons for wanting to stay in the Uk rather than

I have other reason for wanting to stay in the Uk?

Thanks

Another question please guys

Can you live outside the UK if necessary?

We have put Yes, is that correct?

It asks if you want to provide a P60 or signed employment contract, I have opted to leave these out, should I include them?

Thanks

Thank You AmazoniaX

We are about half way through but we’re still unsure about the following questions;

Other grounds for wanting to stay in the UK?

Is this a trick question? We are married and live in the UK. We don’t have any Children. We have put No for now, but are they expecting us to elaborate on anything?

It asks if you want to provide a P60 or signed employment contract, I have opted to leave these out at the moment. Again as they are asking, is this something we should include?

Many Thanks

Is this a trick question? No it is not. We are married and live in the UK. We don’t have any Children. We have put No for now, but are they expecting us to elaborate on anything? It's is for you to respond as your personal circumstances allows. Most applicant will say Yes as they have established personal, social and professional life in the UK and want to continue to reside therein.

It asks if you want to provide a P60 or signed employment contract, I have opted to leave these out at the moment. Again as they are asking, is this something we should include? If asked to include and you have, put it.

Many Thanks

Thank You,

We are now at the next hurdle.

My wife is the applicant, we are using my financial information, so 6 month statements and 6 months payslips. we have used a joint bank account for cohabitation proof and are faced with the following questions;

Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people?

And

Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support?

Would we put Yes or No to each of these?

Thank You

We have got all the way to the payment section and have noticed it’s says given Name(s)

We have only supplied first name and not middle name. It now doesn’t allow us to change anything.

Is there anything we can do without doing the whole thing again?

The name you started the application with is it as contained in the applicant passport?

Hello AmazonianX

My wife’s name on the application is her first name and her last names.

The name in the passport is her first name, middle name and last names.

So we have basically not included her middle name in the application.

It says the name on the application has to match that of the passport. Do we now need to re do the application as we have left our her middle name?

Thanks

Hello Guys,

We are currently looking at re doing the whole application at 5pm tonight. If someone could kindly confirm before then if this is something we are going to have to do, that would be great.

Many Thanks

If that's the only option available then you got to redo. The names must match.

You could have simply written a covering letter explained the error.

Thank You for you reply CR001

We had already re done the application and submitted it. We didn’t want to take the risk.

With regards to the declarations, I’m not sure if I need to sign this one?

“Part 3 - Consent for the home office to verify information from third party sponsor.

If the information or documentation relates to another person or persons who is to provide the applicant with financial support, that person or persons should sign the following declaration”

Reason I am unsure is because we answered the application as stated above (see below);

Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people? Yes

And

Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support? No

Also

I have just gone to start uploading documents as I have spent hours scanning.

I have noticed on the website it now says;

Scan in greyscale or black and white
To help contain the files size to 6MB please scan in greyscale or black and white and not in colour. It is also helpful to keep the resolution between 150dpi to 300dpi.

As mentioned I have scanned all my documents, all under 6MB but the are all in colour (I never knew this until now). Can I just upload the colour ones? Or do I really need to go and scan all again in black and white?

My passport was well over 6mb was easy to shrink down via Adobe.

Best of luck with your submission.

The 3rd party consent confused me too, it seems you can double interpret the wording. I signed both part 2 and 3. I'm sure it won't be a deal breaker as it's clear I am the spouse and not a 3rd person. :)

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Hello Guys,

Pretty much uploaded all my documents.

Only question I had was the following;

With regards to the 2 year cohabitation proof, I have everything required, but the first document is dated 25th Feb 2021 and last document 23rd Feb 2023. As you can see there is 2 days missing to be a full 2 years.

Is this going to be an issue?

Many Thanks
