Kids first passport

Post by manorana2009 » Thu Mar 02, 2023 9:39 pm

Hi, I’m applying kids first passport
One of the document below. I’m not sure if mom need to sign a letter.

If you don’t have parental responsibility, also send the following:
a signed and dated letter from the mother (or other person with parental responsibility) giving consent for the issue of the child’s new passport

Thanks

The requirement states "If you don’t have parental responsibility" - if you have parental responsibility then nothing to provide.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

We both look after our kids so we both have parents responsibility.

So you think there is nothing to send in our case?

Thanks

Thanks

About photos I tried to upload various photos and nothing coming with perfect.

Some comments like
Eye closed(but not)
Background colour bright
Take sharp pictures

Are they generic suggestions from passport websites or there is issue with kid’s pictures?

Thanks

We haven't received any guidance regarding sending the BRP card, and I am uncertain if the same regulation applies to children.

Would anyone happen to know the address where we should send the BRP card? I have discovered two different addresses online, and I am unsure which one to use

Biometric Product Returns,
IFB,5th floor Lunar House,
40 Wellesley Road,
Croydon, CR9 2BY.

BRP Returns,
P.O. Box 195,
Bristol, BS20 1BT

Hello,

Yesterday I received an email confirming my child home office approval, although I had already received my certificate 10 days ago. It appears that the home office is either working efficiently or is very busy sending out emails on time.

However, the email states that I must send my Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) to the following address: Biometric Product Returns, IFB, 5th floor Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR9 2BY. Unfortunately, I have already sent my BRP to a different address.

BRP Returns,
P.O. Box 195,
Bristol, BS20 1BT

Could this potentially cause an issue or problem?

Thanks

It should not, if required it will be channeled to the appropriate office.
