I have received the same email from cvent and I did click yes.
I'd just like to know if I should book mum to come over or not?!
At this stage, I don't even know if it is worth it, like if it is not an 'official' fussy ceremony, maybe there is no point in her coming over?!
Mah, anyhow I will send an email as well to the department of justice, but I guess I will receive the same automated email that someone here has received...
Thanks a mill guys and best of luck to everyone!
If she’s nearby, yes.
If she’s more than 2-3 hours of drive away, I wouldn’t bother that, unless she really wants to come. It is still a special day. The fact they booked this in RDS sort of indicates it’s not going to be a tiny one as opposed to some other ones (like the one in Waterford in my last link).
Thanks a mill!

What I read (instructions in the email) that you will sign fidelity to nation paper (which you should bring with you to the event) in front of witnesses. And they will send the naturalization certificates by post few weeks later.
If you mom is in mainland or further away I wouldn’t bother honestly. Even I don’t think I will invite my parents to the ceremony in June (if I get an invite).
But if your mum is in Ireland or nearby and doesn’t have to deal with visa and paperwork of course it would be nice gesture for parents. After all this thing doesn’t happen all the time for you.
Thanks a mill, no she is inland Europe! So maybe not.
Would you still be invited in June if you have already signed the papers?

No. That paper is the written version of what is oath to fidelity. And it says they will post your citizenship certificates few weeks after the event on March 10th so you won't have anything to do with June event.

Well, that would be a couple of weeks I guess, even so it is better, many people depend on that and time is matter for most of us, it could save time/money for updating their IRP for example, original passport or apply on behalf of kids, many cases where time is matter...

I doubt that. June ceremony will probably has more participants compared to that secret one in March so it should be quicker to issue your naturalization certs before June.
The real deal is the whole new passport backlog.

Yep they did. It says there will be 4 events on 10th of March so I assume they said that for the one at 10 am.

Did you get an email or a letter of invite?
My e vetting disclosure was made few days ago but i have a solicitor, i wonnder if i will receive an approval or the solicitor or an email?
The last correspondence was a vetting form and that was sent to the solicitor not me.
Lastly by looking at the timelines it seems that they need atleast two months after the e vetting

I got email. Your solicitor gets eVetting BUT the approval letter comes to you and your solicitor only gets that you got approved (that's what my solicitor said). So the payment details letter is sent to you.
After you made the payment you will get payment processed (2nd email) then you should look for invite.

Well in my defense, they said they are done with sending invitations so I should keep looking out for the website for the news.
I think there are 4 events on same day. So I believe they will be sending more invites via email.

I don’t know it’s times. But so far they sent invites for 10 and 14 oclock only and we have to be there 1 hour before for registration. So I believe there should be another event at 14 but it’s just a guess. Besides it’s just a signing page event so should be fairly quick.

Nothing for me, I paid in December, payment accepted 6th Jan, but they didn't share anything, even I asked at the citizenship email info

Hi everyone!
Just curious about those who attended the ceremony in March 2023. When will we receive our naturalisation certificate? approx time? I need to change my wife's stamp because she received a job offer through critical skills. We are asked to pay the critical skills application fees. We need to inform the employers whether to process it or wait for my citizenship certificate so that she can obtain her stamp 4 directly.

It says in the email as couple of weeks, so can be 2 weeks or more. If I am not mistaken, IRP renewals take around 10 weeks so even if you change her permission (not sure if it will be stamp 4 or stamp 1g) it will take around 10 weeks to get the new card. If employer willing to pay that long then you can go that route.
I think it's not legal/not allowed for employer to ask employee to pay for work permit costs.

So I guess it's better to wait for my certificate. I just hope it's only 2 weeks or even a month. Everything is so slow in Ireland.

To get stamp 4 as spouse of Irish citizen can take 4-8 months, so sure if that could be easier...

Is it 4-8 months for first time entry or for spouses who are already in Ireland? My wife is residing in Ireland. Could you please clarify?

Did anyone got their Naturalization Certificate by post after attending to March 2023 ceremony?
