What is important is to ensure uploading all supporting documents, under which or what category doesn't matter as CW will view all.

I have just noticed on the checklist there is one that says;

Documents supporting my other reasons to stay in the UK.

What documents is this referring to? I have only supplied what is in my checklist posted above.

Thanks

What have you filled out in the section where it says about the other reasons to stay or how it would impact if there was a refusal?

Do you have a copy of your previous application and what you wrote then?

You can simply write a cover letter which covers all the requirements of a spousal 5 year route and how you meet all requirements and wish to stay in the UK as you have rights to do so as a married partner of a British Citizen (if indeed that is the case or/other scenario that they give)

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved

We simply put that we have cemented a life here and that my wife has a strong bond with my family, has a job she likes and has met some new close friends.

We weren’t going to supply anything to cover that though. Is this something that we should do?

Thanks

We put for “why we can live outside the UK”;

Established a solid life in UK, I have a mortgage and we have friends and family here.

For “Factors that make it difficult to establish private life in country of applicants birth” we put;

Economy is currently very unstable, lack of employment and there is political unrest.

To be honest we weren’t going to put anything to cover these sections, should we add something?

Thanks

Thank you AmazonianX

Yes I have been over thinking it, I know we pass all the criteria, just some questions are odd. I couldn’t work out if I should tick the “other reason wanting to stay evidence” on the checklist.

I just ticked it anyway.

Biometrics on Friday, so just now got to wait 🙏

Hello Guys,

Last thing that has come to mind, does applicant need to upload previously held passports or only current?

Thanks

Just so I’m clear, I should upload all passports used since we started our Finance visa?

Thanks

Current passport is scanned for the applicant. I don't see anywhere in the mandatory docs or supporting that previous is needed.

You need to add in travel information SINCE you've got your visa in the 2nd section where they ask travel history. They'll have records on their side

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

Understood.

We have input our travels on the application form and have also scanned all pages of both passports showing stamps going in and out the countries. Is that all that is required?

Thanks

Hello Guys hope you are well.

We are about to go to our appointment today at 6pm.

I went on just to check all documents are uploaded and came across something and was wondering what it means?

Most of the documents 90-95% have the option of on remove next to them, where I can delete the document if required.

5-10% have the word submitted next to them with no option to remove.

Is there any reason for this? Could it be as our appointment is today they are slowly submitting all the docs?

Thanks

Biometrics all sorted and documents have all been submitted. It is now a waiting game.

Any idea what the current processing time is for the extension?

Thanks

Check the timeline threads and posts on the forum. No 2 applications are same, Can be up to 6months sometimes more.
