Application form switch 10 years to 5 years

Hello.someone told me I can apply visa now if I want to switch my visa from 10 years to 5 years if I have b1 test and financial visa requirements meets.my 10 years route visa finish on 3rd June 2023.can I apply now

On 3rd June 2023, would you have completed 10yrs in the UK on the 10yr route? If not how many years would that be or on which extension I.e. 1st or 2nd extension are you currently on on the 10yr route?

OP is on the 10 year route, he has not completed 10 years. Previous post from 2018 when OP was a person without any status.

Thanks for the reply this is my first extension that’s why I am thinking to switch from 10 years to 5 years.I want to apply now because I done my b1 test and I meet financial requirements. You can apply now

Thanks everyone.I just want to ask that wife wages and my wife nearly 4500£ every month after tax but on statement both account is nearly empty end of the month is it not bad for my case because all money goes out but we both have payslips to prove.can I still switch from 10 years to 5 years now or shall I wait for the end of my visa for 10 year route.

The HO is not bothered about your bank account balance bit the income is material to the application. So you can go ahead.

Personally, I'd say do not delay it. I wholly regret not switching my husband's visa in 2018, he could have been completed his 5 year this year. I waited until I had 6 months payslip AFTER i returned from maternity leave, this resulted in 2.5 years wasted. I think because we fought so hard against the Home Office with rejections we were just glad to get the visa in the first place, but.. it's a regret!! Hey ho, life moves on and he'll be in ILR stage in 2.5 years InshaAllah (God Willing)

Hello I start filling online form flrfm I just want to know when my application start when I pay homeoffice fee or when I give biometric because I am thinking I submit homeoffice fee and fill the form 2nd week of aprail and then give my bio metric 2nd week of may because I am worried if homeoffice refuse my flrfm they can give me on flrfp basic I am really afraid from homeoffice I don’t want homeoffice refused my application my visa expire on 3rd June 2023.

Date of application is the date you submit and pay for the online application.

For either the uk or any other country have you ever been refused a visa
Refused entry at border
Refused permission to stay or remain
My answer is no but I am refused two three times before I get my leave to remain do I need to mention that I was refuse because I was overstay for 10 ten years and then then I apply on marriage base

If you had been refused two three times before you got your leave to remain or was refused because you overstayed for 10 ten years, then your answer is “yes”.

They may have records of their refusals. They may consider that answering “no”, when it’s untrue, is deception.

Provide the information you have. You may want to write a cover letter to throw more light on circumstances.

Check through your paperwork, your FLR FP approval should have your immigration history or even refusal letters. I had to check through our approvals too to get all this history

Enter in each refusal and enter the Home Office case reference. If you do not have all the information to hand write a cover letter explaining things.

Family pictures not required.
Bills like other correspondences with name and address on it can be used as evidence of cohabitation.

Hello.I stuck on some question the first one is
1-Have you previously lived in a country outside the uk including your country of birth.
But I visit in January 2020 in Pakistan and come in February 2020 shall I use option yes or no
2.the second this is that can I add my partner as my 2nd employment but she start using current job on 28 novamber which is not six month but she work in October different company can I add her income aswell
