Only one applicant approved

Post by shuaibkhan » Mon Mar 27, 2023 11:33 am

After waiting for more than 5 months for my citizenship application processing, today I got approval only for one applicant (my wife) but haven't received approval for the other applicant. I find that strange. Is that normal that they send out separate approvals for each applicant. And is it possible that mine is delayed further?

Note that I put both of us in the same application.

Thank you.

They are attended to individually, wait to hear about the outcome of the other applications.

Yes, because each application is considered separately.

What do you mean? As far as I understand, you cannot apply for two people in one application. You have to submit, and pay for, two separate applications.

How did you manage to "put you both" in the same application? How many forms did you fill? How many applications did you pay?

Filled two forms, but within same application 'process' - if that makes sense.

Anyway received approval for the other applicant too after an hour.

Well, for you it's the same application process since you are filling one after the other, but for the system that is receiving the applications, they are obviously completely separate, since submitted separately.

Good.
