Applying after 5 years on spouse visa

Hello,just want to ask if anyone already done this:I am holding a second spouse visa I will have 5 years by February 2023 may I know what is the next visa I will apply after this?(I am just confused and ILR and Uk citizenship)and anyone can share requirements pls?thank you ❤️

You first apply for ILR. If ILR is granted, you can apply for citizenship straight away (if married to British citizen) or after a year with ILR (if not), subject to absence/etc requirements.

Yes, what level of English test do you hold at the moment or used for your last spouse visa extension?

You can apply 28days before completing 5years in the UK countend from you entry into UK on initial spouse visa.

I’m holding A2 test which I used for my second spouse visa and what about the life in a Uk test?if so how long is the validity if I take life in a Uk 3 months before my visa expires .

Life in the UK test doesn't expire. I'd advise you to take it sooner than later.
For language you need a B1 at least, as mentioned before.

Oh that’s great,my visa runs out by feb.2024 planning to apply both test by July.worried about life in a Uk test lol 😆 I might fail

Even if expired so far used for a successful application it may still be reusable.

ILR standard application is £2388. You pay £800 more for super priority. This also excludes the UKCVAS biometric appointment cost.

Citizenship currently is £1330. This excludes the UKCVAS biometric appointment cost.

Costs are usually increased in April.
