Going for ILR visa to PEO croydon

Post by contactnsm » Mon Dec 01, 2008 2:20 pm

Dear Members,
After being a visitor for this forum for the last 3 years, I am posting my first query. Please help me if you can? I am planning to go for ILR visa to PEO croydon in Jan 2009. but i am confused regarding my earliest eligible date for ILR. :?: please can any forum member double check this and confirm the eligible date for ILR?
I entered UK on 8-Feb-2004 and will be completing 5 years on 8-Feb-2009. I can apply to ILR any time from 11 Jan 2009 . Am i right in thinking so ?
:?
So if i go to PEO Croydon on 12 JAN 2009, am i fine or am i going early ?

I don;t see any reason why not...your application date falls within the guidelinesof 28days before your current leave expires.

You do not mention what visa/s you have held during the five years. We can all assume work permit/HSMP, but who knows on this board....can you confirm for us?

Sorry guys !. I am planning to applying for ILR under WP/HSMP combination. 3.5 years on Wp and 1.5 years on HSMP.

Additional info:

1) Currently Home office books appointments within a range of 6 weeks to date.

2) New ILR application is avialable for those applying after 27 Nov 2008

Today I have called PEO and after 15 mins of recorded messages and music, got through to the customer support asst. She asked details like Suname, Forename, DOB and any Dependents details etc... and booked an appointment. was given a Booking Ref number.
