Date of application for Tier 1

I am in very tricky situation and need help. If you have applied for extension anytime in your life then you will be able to answer my query.

Has anyone applied for visa extension before 7-8 weeks prior to Visa expiry date and get approval?

Please, please help me. any feed back is highly appreciated.

Yes that's quite possible and normal.
