Just read that someone got their cert today from march 2023 ceremony.

I was on phone with 2 lads who been at the cermoney with me, none of them got the cert, I don't know how long are the 2 weeks.

my partner got it last week. still not getting mine

I read that someone got it yesterday also. I think at this point I will just start sending them an email every day and saying I still didn't my certificate. It's been a month ffs.

The cover letter is signed with date of 3rd of April so I assume they are working even on weekends.

Received the cert today for the ceremony happened on 10th March 23 but as a minor and I'm an adult applicant not sure what has to be done now.

Pls confirm if all have received like wise and what will be next course of action even though I have emailed citizenship address. Tx

I read that someone got it yesterday also. I think at this point I will just start sending them an email every day and saying I still didn't my certificate. It's been a month ffs.

Can you check if the certificate which has been received today is for minor as the one which I ve received is a minor certificate pls confirm

If you are not a minor, you should send them an email urgently and get it fixed

Hi all,

A little on a parallel topic here, but I heard from a colleague that once you get the certificate, and want to take the passport you need to go in person to change the nationality of your PPS.

Now, I can only see that you must verify your identity at Garda for the first application. Didn't see anything for PPS.

She had her naturalisation a long time ago, so that might be something that changed in recent years.

Have anyone heard something like that?

For gaining/applying pp you need to get verified by Garda.. Not sure on pps nationality change can be also done later.. Changing nationality won't stop you from applying for PP..

Gardai does not have any saying in how PPS works. That’s for Revenue. And you are not required to change nationality with Revenue in the first place.

Did you get approval for all of the 3 applications you had Nala2021? We applied around same time (Nov 2021) so just wondered.

By the way, my doorbell was broken and postman refused to drop the letter to my mailbox because it was government letter (it was also registered post). Instead he left "missed delivery" note but I found him around the corner and got the letter from him.

I read that for some people, postman just dropped it to their mailbox with no try of getting in contact. So if anyone is still waiting just keep an eye on your inbox and doorbell.
