She can apply as currently is, not compulsory for name to be changed. Lot of people don't change name after marriage and no issues.

Is it ok.
Or.

ST 12.6.
The applicant must show that they have held the required level of funds for a 28-day period and as specified in Appendix Finance unless the applicant is relying on a student loan or official financial sponsorship which meets the requirements of FIN 8.3. in Appendix Finance
Also

ST 33.5.
Unless the applicant is applying at the same time as the Student and ST 22.1. applies, the applicant must show that they have the required funds as specified in Appendix Finance.
Student: financial requirement

If I understand correctly, you are asking whether a Student can rely on evidence of money held in their spouse's name, not in their own name? I think the other folks who have answered may be thinking you are asking something else, although to be fair it is not very easy to understand what you are asking.

If that's your question the answer is Yes, if the spouse is also applying.

See Immigration Rules Appendix Finance, paragraph FIN 5.1:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... ix-finance

I have amended into plain English.

FIN 5.1. Accounts [...] must be in the name of the applicant (either alone or as a joint account holder), unless one of the following applies:

(a) the account is in the name of the applicant’s [spouse] who is applying for [a visa] at the same time or has been granted [a visa already]
