Employer letter for Schengen Visit Visa to Switzerland

Is digital copy of employer letter along with 3 month payslips acceptable for Schengen Visit Visa for Switzerland or hard copy of employer letter is mandated?

I have seen both working. The most important things is that the letter contains all the information needed including the contact details of the person signing (email and phone number)

Ideally try to get a hard copy on a nice headed paper. If not, the same in a digital format.

Avoid simple text emails. It needs to look professional and official.
