BenAnswers2 wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 8:53 amHello,
My wife entered the UK on 5th November 2020, meaning 30 months have now passed (visa granted on 1 November 2020).
Her spouse visa is due to expire on 1 August 2023, but can we apply for FLR (M) now? Are there any disadvantages of doing it now if we have the documents ready? Yes you can, however to ensure you don't have a shortfall by the time due to apply SET (M) you may give it a couple more weeks. When do you intend to apply?
Also, if we are not using adequate maintenance, we don't need to provide
"evidence of council tax costs for the accommodation in the UK where you live"
Is that correct? Correct, council tax doc can be used to meet correspondence/letters requirements
My impression is that the documents required are basically the same as before, with the exception of the correspondence requirement (letters jointly addressed over last two years). Please let me know if not. Yes they are.
Thank you very much for your help,
Ben
I was planning to apply in a week or two. Perhaps 20th May. That would hopefully get us over the five year line by expiry if FLR(M) is 30 months?AmazonianX wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 9:08 amYes you can, however to ensure you don't have a shortfall by the time due to apply SET (M) you may give it a couple more weeks. And then SET(M) you can apply for 28 days before 5 years? I think?
Thanks Amazonian

For children, should I scan the whole passport or just biometric page?CR001 wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 5:44 pmNo, only their British passports.BenAnswers2 wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 5:12 pmA quick question - is there any reason to include copies of the Colombian passports of my two children in my wife's FLR (M) application, or will just the British ones to prove their citizenship be sufficient?
