No. You have to apply to REGISTER the UK born child before you can apply for a passport. Your child born abroad, will follow the same path as your spouse and must apply for ILR first. You could have applied for British Citizenship for your UK born child as soon as you got ILR.1. Can I apply for British passport for my both kids in 2023 as I will begin the process for myself?
Born abroad child applies for ILR when the other parent does.2. If I cannot do their naturalization application, what options do I have for getting them a settled status in the UK?
No!3. My family have a foreign passport which will expire in 2024. If I apply for their ILR now, will I have to renew the ILR again later?
Post in the appropriate sub forum please.4. My fourth question is not related to immigration. Can I apply for child benefit in the current situation as I have ILR for myself.
Your original question wasManishC123 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 1:27 pm1. When you mentioned that I could have applied for British citizenship for my UK born child, does it mean I cannot do it now?
The answer to that is that neither of your children can apply for a British passport right now as they are not British citizens.ManishC123 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 12:51 pm1. Can I apply for British passport for my both kids in 2023 as I will begin the process for myself?
I request your kind clarification on thisManishC123 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 1:58 pmYes in June 2022, the extension was done as "PBS, Start-up, Innovator or Global Talent dependant partner".
I have got ILR (global talent Tier 1 visa) in the form of BRP but that also puts an expiry date as 31st December 2024.
What is exactly your query here ??ManishC123 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 10:04 amI request your kind clarification on thisManishC123 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 1:58 pmYes in June 2022, the extension was done as "PBS, Start-up, Innovator or Global Talent dependant partner".

You may request for this however there is no guarantee it will be expedited.ManishC123 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 6:11 pmI had applied for ILR via the standard route on 27th January 2023. I got my fingerprint appointment on 27th February 2023. All my documents were submitted and fingerprinting appointment went well. I am aware that a maximum timeline for obtaining ILR under standard route is 6 months.
But recently, I need to make an urgent travel and I need my BRP card for the same purpose. I was wondering if there is some way to know the status of the ILR application? Can we make a request to the Home office for an expedite support (given that already 3 months are about to pass from the date of fingerprint appointment).
