HSMP extension doubt

Post by hsmp_crazy » Tue Nov 25, 2008 10:46 pm

Hi,

I got my HSMP under old scheme (not tier 1 ) the one before that. I need to extend it june 2009. Appreciate if some one can help me in below queries.

1) when i can apply for extension ? (how many days before )

2) how long they will extend my hsmp for ? will it be for 3 years or only for 6 months as at the end of 6th month i am entering into PResidency.

Any one who has undergone similar thing can they please help me ?

Thanks

1) within 5 weeks before expiry. can be earlier if you have a valid reason

2) 3 years

I would tend to agree with that. Once you have completed the mandatory period under the scheme - 4/5 years you can apply for ILR
