Ceremony Invitations June 19th & 20th

Post by shpirtshqipe » Wed May 03, 2023 6:34 am

Hi all,

Maybe I’m being over optimistic here but has anyone received invitation to attend the naturalisation ceremony this coming June?

Thanks

It should be only posted/emailed starting just 15 days before the ceremony as it happened all the previous times.

My worry is that, I barely see any approvals and the ceremony is 7 weeks away 👀👀🤔🤔🤔.

Something is very strange around this time

Looking through the timeline topics, they're technically capable to have a 40 day turnaround from approval to ceremony: post2097206.html#p2097206 as an example
Approval: 28th October 2022 ; will pay the 950 Euros over the week-end. Scheduled to attend the ceremonies on 5th or 6th of december 2022. Note: they have a 10 days deadline to submit the payment of 950 Euros.
Second confirmation of payment received: 14 november 2022 (by email)
Invitation letter: 18 november 2022 (by post)
Date of Ceremony: 5 december 2022, INEC Killarney
The question is will they do it, of course. If there's no news by the end of next week, well..

From timeline topics, they send an actual invitation about 4 weeks before the date? Fingers crossed anyway.

So far only 1 person approved from people here for the June ceremony? Anyone else?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone else received their invitation to the June ceremony? I paid in December 2022 I am assuming (hoping) I should be included for this one. However, no post or email invitation received yet. I see that might be coming by email instead of post?

Thanks.

My registration is @ 10am.
From Dublin to Gleneagle INEC there's no way i can get there before 11am. The first bus is at 7am and same with the rail.

Has anyone changed their times? Cvent has an option at the bottom to reschedule appointment? Has anyone ever tried changing the timeslot?

That's the whole point, they use this to force people to spend money on hotels in Killarney.

What happens if you can’t make it to the ceremony? Can you go to the next one or do they rescind your approval?

Yes - Received invite last week for 19th June.
I paid the £950 mid Feb and literally heard nothing until I got the email last week inviting me to attend (started this process in April 2021)

Is there anyone who got invitation for 20th June? My citizenship fee (950 Eur) was processed on 15th May and I am kinda losing hope for June ceremony, although I was really positive before. Do you think there will be more invitations for the June ceremony?

I have my registration @12 PM. Is it ok to travel by the first bus in the morning at 7 AM from Dublin which reaches Killarney around 11 AM or would that be a risk in the last minute and prefer travelling the previous day and stay for the next morning. Any insights here please?
