Hi Sudhansu,
I did not opt for review as there were other faults with my application - my payslips were signed but not stamped, and I had not provided letter from employer listing current financial year's tax deduction details.
I reapplied today with the proper docs.
Going back to the question of bank statements, I will post the case worker's reason for rejection later tonight, for now - this is what I found on this link:

personal bank statements showing salary received – these should be on official bank stationery and show each of the payments you are claiming. Electronic statements should be accompanied by a supporting letter from your bank on company headed paper confirming the documents’ authenticity;
This does leave us with an option to print statements on plain paper but with an accompanying letter from the bank confirming such statements' authenticity. But what beats me is what would the content of such a letter from the bank be ? How will such a document verify that a statement printed on plain paper is authentic, without listing in great detail what the statement holds ? I would love to know if anybody has done this - printing online statements and getting letter from bank verifying the same.
