ILR Set O - Additional Information/Documentation Requested

Post by heaths123 » Wed May 31, 2023 5:32 pm

Hoping someone has some advice!

ILR applied for Set O from 5 years Tier 2 sponsorship visa.
Super Priority service booked
30/05/23 9:00am attended biometrics
30/05/23 documents submitted (at biometrics appointment)
31/05/23 11:09am received email from HOA asking for April payslip and bank statement
31/05/23 11:27 received an email the documents were submitted

And now nothing back.

Can anyone tell me if I am still under the “super priority” service? As in will I still hear back asap or because I have been asked for additional documents that I am pushed back to normal service?

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

My nerves are shot, I uploaded everything they had requested and more!

I’m fine with waiting, I just want to know an end date!
That’s why I booked and payed for the option so I had a time frame.

My fate is someone else’s hands is incredibly stressful!

No one can give you any dates. Wait to hear back

I’d just like to know if my application is still considered super priority or if I’m on the normal route now

Your application is being considered, so you get a response as soon as they are done with it

Long wait after submitting additional documents

Post by heaths123 » Wed Jun 14, 2023 3:56 pm

Hi all!

I applied for my ILR on May 30th using the super priority service. Received an email asking for another months bank and pay slip on May 31st which I provided half an hour later.

I have heard nothing back from Home Office since.

I contacted my MP who contacted Home Office and they just said to wait.

It has been 2 weeks now with no update. From what I have read on here, most people hear back within this time frame.

Does any one have any similar experiences or suggestions as to what I can do?

I have travel plans in July and this is why I paid the £800 for SP. All of the mandatory documents were submitted with the initial submission date (30th) and my one email from HO doesn’t mention that my case is “complex”

Any help?

The advice given to you remains the same. If your application could have been decided within the timeframe it would have been already decided. The advice has always been that you should not plan any travels until you have your ILR, otherwise you do this at your own risk. Paying £800 is not going to guarantee anything as such a service has no guarantees at all. Each application is unique so generally speaking what others experienced may not necessarily be relevant
