Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

What happens if you can’t make it to the ceremony? just received approval letter and paid the fee. The next ceremony is June 19/20 2023, 3 weeks away. What are the chances I’ll get an invitation for that one?

We do not know.
Technically someone mentioned nobody from the forums had received an invitation to the 20th, but it's just speculation.
If you can't make the next one, you'd have to deal with ISD. They won't rescind the approval, but whether they invite you to the next one, after next or offer another way is a mystery. Reach out to ISD if you do get approval and share your experience!

Did you get a processed email (that they got the payment)?
I would check by emailing ISD if I were you and if they don't reply, maybe follow up with TD? As you're approved, I would expect you'd be invited to the ceremony, maybe letter got lost in the post or whatnot.

I'd say send an email to a TD designated mailbox to check whether a ceremony invitation got lost in the post or something or just ask a TD to raise and enquiry on your behalf to this same TD mailbox.

I don't think there's much else you can do besides what's mentioned - check with your TD on your application status. Not sure if they can do anything besides saying you're approved, though.
Check your card statement for safety sake - did you have any transactions that were blocked/rejected? 950 is a lot of money.
They also email confirmations of payment and ceremony invitations - have you received stuff from them before? Is your email correct in their systems?

It gone from my account, my email not blocked - I received a lot of communication through it.

Only reason can be: I submitted a photo with wrong size (my bad!) 13 May
They reopened form to ask submit passport-size photo 16 of May and I resubmit the form the same day. Since that no news...

meself, I hope they do batch process and if you approved this week and pay also, may be they process your and mine payment next week and still invite us. I see no point to approve before ceremony and NOT invite, I also didn't see any case in the past they doing that.

I would hope so; they don't need anything else from me (or you, for that matter), just have to take the money (which I hope they'll do ASAP) and send an email invite. Thankfully, I'm flexible enough to get to the ceremony at short notice, if it's required.

There's a chance that they decided to just push me one step further and stop there as I've reached out to my local TD asking about my application recently, but yea, the gap between approval and invitation should be tiny enough to get it over with on this ceremony.

However I am a 2023 applicant but a resident here since 17 years….

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed so far through these forums and also close friends that people have received the invitation to the June 19th ceremony on Tuesday May 24th and the invitation for June 20th was sent out on Tuesday May 30th. Has anyone received invitations besides these two days? I have not received mine but I know people who applied literally on the same week as me and got the invite already. My hope is that there are more invitations coming. Maybe next Tuesday there is another batch
