Spouse visa application- previous refusal letter

Post by Michelle33 » Sat Jun 03, 2023 10:40 pm

Hi,

My spouse is applying for visa to join me in Ireland, we should include any previous visa refusal and add the original refusal letter, unfortunately this happened 5 year ago for a tourism visa application to France and she didnt keep the letter, we tried to contact the French Embassy in her country to get it but no answer, the immigration website states that not including the letter will lead to application refusal, any advice or similar experience please ?

Best regards

Wasn't your spouse already in Ireland on stamp 3?

Have you tried reaching out to your Irish embassy explaining the situation? Possibly they could clarify or give you the go ahead to submit an affidavit of some sort.
