Please can someone help me in regards to the information below?

My mother has visited twice before on 6 months visitor visa and now coming again on 2 years visitor visa.
I am a British citizen.
Can I switch my mother's visitor visa to a permanent visa, while she in the UK?

Any attempt on the route negates the visitor visa as clearly stated while applying that you can not switch within the UK to another visa while on visit visa.
