Know that feeling, been waiting for a while as well. They've taken the money, but I didn't get a processed email, so I'm extremely afraid ISD will ask for another thousand now!
thanks for the update! there's still hope yetcazo23 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 11:09 amHi everyone,
I was expecting no more invitations but got mine this morning at 9.30 AM for ceremony on June 19th. It is very short notice and my guess is that maybe these ones are coming to fill for cancellations. Anyway I am very happy and I really hope you get one too soon even if it is only 5 days before the ceremony.
Good luck!
Maybe someone who already attended this cermoney can shed some light?GoWentGone123 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 12:47 pmVery valid question. I guess you handover the declaration after signing it at reception and then it might not be mandatory to participate in whole ceremony. But i have no proof or prior experience. Someone who has attended these sort of ceremonies can shed light on how it works
There is a reason they have given time slots, appointments to people. Consequences of being late can be any.Nala2021 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2023 5:28 pmCan anyone shed some light for the 12pm registration time please? I had started a different topic, but I was locked by the mod - who, by the way, assumed that the ceremony starts at 12pm, where indeed, it is the registration that does. Hence my question, as to whether arriving at 12:15pm for the 1pm ceremony would be ok. I was also directing this to any people who know of these ceremonies in Killarney, or who have been to one.
It was just checked and returnedluxurylemon wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 1:24 pmCan anyone who attended the ceremonies today confirm that they didnt take your GNIB/IRP card off you and it was just shown at registration?
We are going on holiday in 2 weeks (non visa required so no re-entry visa possible) so we are kind of relying on it to get my husband back into the country
I dont think we will have certificates in 2 weeks!
We were at the earlier one and started at 11:10 not 11, it took about 45 minutes, at the end of the Ceremony you swear fidelity so in theory you need to do that.GoWentGone123 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 8:01 pmHi guys! Is it possible for anyone who attended 1pm ceremony today, to confirm, about the duration of ceremony and when can you leave. If you can help it will be great!
Was at the Ceremony today, you declare fidelity at the end of the Ceremony and that is required. In theory you could sneek out after registration but I would say that would be a very big risk.White_Pearl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 5:09 pmMaybe someone who already attended this cermoney can shed some light?GoWentGone123 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 12:47 pmVery valid question.
