One clarification required - Accidently I missed to provide verification details (contact name and email) on the visa application form, however I have mentioned that in my covering letter. Will this be fine? Thanks.

Suresh, its Rs 80 as per the visa fees page of the vfs website.
Do call up BHC to check with them

There is a problem at the British Deputy High Commission systems. I applied for Tier 1 yesterday and was told this by the lady at the biometric counter.

Are you aware if any verification took place in your case? Do they do it for all applications or only where they have a doubt of genuiness of applicant?

Yes they said the BHC was facing some systems issue.

Who is doing the integra job now as integra forms were not taken by them. Even they didn't take a set of photocopies of the documents. I had taken along two sets.

Integra verification has been stopped since Dec 1. I think BHC is processing without integra verification.

I applied for Tier 1 (General) Migrant category on December 2nd '08 from Mumbai.
The reply I get via sms is 'Your application is forwaded to the British HIgh Comission'.

Due to technical errors all the workings have gone haywire.

What I want to know is, dont they have an Integra check?? Does anyone have any idea how long will it take for the visa to get processed.

Application: WP -> Tier 1 (General) .. Main Applicant and 1 Dependent Applicant (Wife).

29-Nov ( Staurday) : Application submitted by Royal Mail Special Delivery with Â£750 Postal Order
1-Dec ( Monday): Home office received the application
3-Dec (Wednesday): Letter dated 1-Dec-08 from HO with Reference number
15-Dec (Monday): Both Passport received with visa stamped on 11-Dec-2008.
