PBS dependent visa

Post by chkrishna » Mon Jul 10, 2023 6:34 pm

Hello,

I am on PBS visa provided by employer X. I am moving into new company Y. While doing employer change, I have got new CoS and initiated the visa application. My new employer immigration team advised that I need not apply new visa for my dependents and PBS visa is only needed for me.

Could you please confirm, if this is correct? My dependents can remain on the visa processed by my employer X.

Regards,
Krishna

They do not need to apply as long as their visas remain valid and you extend them before they expire.

They are dependent on YOU not your employer.

Thank you.

My new CoS start date is 14-aug-23 and the current one is ending on 10-aug-23.

For 3 days I will not be assigned to any CoS. Is it ok? will it have any impact later on say for ILR/PR?
I am traveling back to UK and will reach on 14-aug-23 morning. I am assuming I need to carry the new BRP card while going through UK immigration. Can you please confirm?

Krishna

Are you currently applying to switch employers and planning to travel abroad soon?
