SKILLED WORKER VISA SWITCHING WITHIN UK

Hi,

My cousin came to UK on her Tier 2 General(Domiciliary Visa) . Employer didn’t give her any shifts and it made her life in the UK very struggling. She managed to find another employer and they offered her sponsorship. Now her husband is in the UK as her dependant.

If she take the job offer from the new employer does her husbands needs to change his current dependant visa, could they both apply for the visa within the UK or will they have to go back to India.

Can her husband work in the UK legally as he is on dependant visa.


What documents are required while applying for Tier 2 (Senior Carer) within the UK under her new employer.

Dependant can keep his current leave as it is and apply later by the expiry date. Both can apply within the UK.

Yes he can

Not quite sure about the "domiciliary visa" category but I believe pretty much the same documents she submitted for the first application are required.
