Child born to Irish in Northern Ireland

Post by Billi92 » Sat Jul 15, 2023 2:06 am

Hello
My daughter was born in Northern Ireland and I want to confirm if she’s eligible for British passport

My wife is an Irish national living in Northern Ireland her parents are also Irish. I am non EU living in Northern Ireland and my parents are non EU living in Asia

Based on this is my daughter eligible to apply for a British passport?
I tried doing passport application online but it keeps asking for my daughters grandparents birth certificates and marriage certificate (cannot get it as my parents are divorced)

How do I go about getting her British passport?
