No, it is pasted into the passport!
It's just sad that they could have requested additional documents (tax receipts or utility bills) with regard to the intentions, rather than rejecting it for a simple visitor visa.* You stated that you intend to come to the UK for tourism and to visit family. In assessing your application I have considered the information provided, personal and financial circumstances and the credibility of your trip in the context of its timing and your stated intentions.
• I note you state you are retired with savings of £6000.00. You state your son is contributing £5000.00 towards your trip to the UK. However, in order to satisfactorily assess your intentions in the UK it is necessary for you to demonstrate your circumstances and ties to your own country. I have to assess these separately to those of your sponsor.
•You state your son is sponsoring your trip. In support of this you have provided bank statements and payslips in his name. Although I am satisfied with the funds he has available I must be satisfied with your own personal and financial circumstances. The information provided does not demonstrate you have any income, funds, or assets of your own, nor do they show how you support yourself on a daily basis. This damages the credibility of your application and raises concerns about your intentions to travel to the UK at this time. Therefore, I am not satisfied of your intentions of entering the UK.
•I have considered the evidence and information submitted in your application; and on the balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you have accurately presented your circumstances or intentions in wishing to enter the United Kingdom. This means that I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor or that you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of your proposed visit. Your application for a visit visa is refused under Paragraph V 4.2 (a), (c) of the United Kingdom Immigration Rules
She should have submitted everything. Additional documents are not requested at all generally for visitor visas. It is the applicant's responsibility to submit everything to prove all ties to home country and evidence of source of financial amounts claimed in the application. It's just sad that they could have requested additional documents (tax receipts or utility bills) with regard to the intentions, rather than rejecting it for a simple visitor visa.
Unclear what exactly she submitted unless you state exactly what has been submitted or submit the FULL text of the refusal (taking out personal information).Documents requested after the application were all supplied.
Bank statement were provided showing proof her savings, as this in document checklistShe should have submitted everything. Additional documents are not requested at all generally for visitor visas. Utility bills or tax receipts are not required - and not recommended to submit - as supporting documents for a visitors visa. That's stated on the UKVI website!jainvikas8 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 1:49 pmIt's just sad that they could have requested additional documents (tax receipts or utility bills) with regard to the intentions, rather than rejecting it for a simple visitor visa.

Now it is a further pain for a 60+ year at the border control and taint on her passport.
Documents requested after the application were all supplied.
The list may not say it implicitly however implied. Burden of proof lies with applicant and seeking clarification before application always a good stepjainvikas8 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 7:11 amThe property documents where not submitted as the asset was not asked. Probably a statement to 'Show ties to your country' would be good in document checklist.
Anyways, Thanks, will retry again.
I doubt that would be an issue, because a ticket cost these days are reaching a £1k.£5000 for UK trip???? is she coming to stay for 6 months? U put a doubt in ECO mind that she will not return after her visit.
Its my honest opinion and experience to deal with uk visit visa. can u justify here £5000 expense for 1 month UK visit. If u r providing her accomodation and food? which is already paid for by you.jainvikas8 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 9:03 amI doubt that would be an issue, because a ticket cost these days are reaching a £1k.£5000 for UK trip???? is she coming to stay for 6 months? Please kindly refrain from putting these types of comments. Thanks.
Again 3 months r too excessive to visit someone.should be around 4 to 5 weeks max in visa application. Visit visa is not that simple as we think.jainvikas8 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 8:42 amThe assumption here is wrong, the visit was for 3 months.
The funds were for her including flight, other travel needs, and medical expenses.
Anyways we could go on here... but the tone of the first post wasn't good. And I didn't take things personally, if it was then the response would be more personal.
Thanks for the comments and will go through your post later.

My mother's application is also rejected for similar reasons, any help to understand the reassons is much appreciated, Thanksjainvikas8 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 7:11 amThe property documents where not submitted as the asset was not asked.
