TIme left for ILR

Post by sichumon » Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:33 am

Hi

I came to UK on April 2004 on Business Visa. In August 2004 my visa status was changed to work permit. Will the time period from April to August be considered in the 5 year duration for my ILR ??

TIA

Actually I could be wrong about that, I'm thinking now that only spouses can benefit from previous contiguous time on other visas towards citizenship.

It will not be considered for ILR and hence there is no question of it being considered for citizenship either.
