Hi
I am not sure if anyone can help me with a solution.Any help would be highly appreciated.
I have been staying in this countyr for last 4.5 yrs with my husband. Got married to him (he came 6 months before and came here). Have been a dependent earlier on work permits and now a dependent on HSMP.
The ILR though due in oct hasn't been applied yet.
Now my hsuband has left me and my 11 month old daughter and i am not sure what to do.
I don't want to go back to india as i am not sure if i will be able to raise my child there.
I do work but my company is not going to work on getting me a work permit.
Is there some hope for me?
or do i have to go back?

Where was your daughter born? Does your husband have ILR? When did you separate?

If she is on a visa she isn't entitled to any (or at least most) benefits.

India is a home of 1200m people
which includes 450 m children and there is enough room for a child so not make this issue here of not able to raise child in India
Your greed or need can be other issue for your immigration help or advice

A woman going back to India with a child and no husband, don't talk daft sushi. India is a country that has a caste system (a form of discrimination) and you have the audacity to tell me that all is well. Advice her and give her options or shut your piece.

As someone with female relatives from both India and the Middle East, I'm in agreement with First-Class Moron.
But before we start World War 3 on the forum, are you able to expand on what the specific problem would be for you in returning to India with your child?
Also what nationality is your husband?
Oh, the drama...!

First, I apologise for the responses here that seem to question your desire to stay in the UK. I'm not going to question your choice.
In terms of your questions, as Sakura has asked, it can make a difference to your options if your child was born here, the timelines, etc.
What are your husband's intentions? Has he filed for divorce or legal separation? When did this happen?
There are somewhat limited options for you if your husband is unwilling to support your application for ILR. But there may be some options available in the details.

The OP actually sent me a PM last week with details. The baby was born in their home country, not in the UK. Husband does not yet have ILR.
