Sending additional documents after application has been made

My visa is due to expire next week and I intend to send my application 2 days before that but am not sure whether i will be getting my bank statements before that. I have my previous 3 months bank statement with me but on the first one there are some funds missing for the first 8 days. I have been able to complete those days throughout this month and requested my bank to send me the statements as soon as possible but am not so sure it will reach me before I make the application. So my questions are as follows:

1. Can I send those bank statements I already have in possession for my application and then later send the additional ones (I expect to get them by the end of next week)?

2. Can you send additional documents into an application already made but before any decision has been taken on that case?

3. If YES, to which address do you send that and what is the procedure to do so?Is there any particular form that needs to be filled in or you simply has to send them with a letter quoting your reference case number

4. Is the signed and stamped bank statements enough to satisfy the maintainence requirements or it should be supported by additional documents (on the PSW workguide there are actually 4 documents listed)

I don't think you can send additional documents with the post study work category UNLESS requested by the caseworker(going by the acknowledgement letter sent to me after I applied).

A signed and stamped bank statement which has your name, account details and address is enough to satisfy the maintenance requirement, and obviously this should be for the last 90 days or 3 months.
