Sorry one last thing please -

A declaration by Person x of the source(s) of the cash savings, Acct: xx

Do we need to provide this declaration in a separate letter drafted by the applicant and partner? Yes

I have included a section "Source of cash savings" on the cover letter. Is that good enough? You may use it to give additional info but not a substitute for Declaration of source of cash savings

I did not see any form to download for cash savings, the only form I got was the "family consent" Yes

Thanks

Pay IHS again when switching?

Post by rshelar » Thu Jul 06, 2023 3:12 pm

Hi,

My spouse is currently in the UK on an employer sponsored visa who have also paid for her IHS.

We are now switching in country to a spouse/ dependent visa of a British citizen.

Can we use the same reference for IHS as paid by the employer OR do we need to pay IHS again?

Thanks

No, you can't use the same reference number as the skilled worker visa.

You have to pay ihs again.

Hello :)

Can someone pls advise

1. Do we need to take all original documents and print outs when we go to attend the biometric appointment?

We did not select document checking service and have only uploaded all docs. Some are scanned original and some are PDF which we uploaded

2. Is the "application date" when we pay the visa and IHS fee or the date we attend the biometric?

I assume the former, but want to confirm.

Thank you

No need to take them but many do as there might be an issue with a particular document then UKCVAS can rescan and upload.

The application date is the date you submit and pay online and your supporting documents must be dated on or before this date.
