Hi,

My wife has applied for her first passport UK. Her friend who she has given to confirm identity has entered 12 years instead of 3 years (typed both 1 and 2 instead of 3 ). How many years you have known her ?

How can we get this corrected? Will the passport application be rejected?

That's not a problem to worry about. Her friend wouldn't be contacted.

Probably didn't phrase it well. Contacted to confirm that they know the individual, not contacted to check if it's 3 years or 12 years.
