Tier 2 General Dependant Extension

Post by pjjha » Mon Aug 28, 2023 1:24 am

Hiya,

Any inputs will be much appreciated for my below query.

I came to UK on Jun'19 as a Dependent on Tier 2 General Visa and since then my partner have got ILR (Oct'19) & Citizenship (2020). I have to extend my visa one more time in next couple of months to be eligible for ILR but the new visa application form (PBS Dependent Partner) in IHS website requires answers to below questions.

1) Please enter a valid work Start, End date.
The website is instructing to enter partner's work start & end date, which is not applicable anymore.
Shall I simply enter next day of my current leave to remain expiry date as start date and end date as 3 years from the start date?

2) Please enter visa expiry date for my partner.
This question is invalid as my partner is British Citizen.
Should I add the same end date mentioned above (three years from current expiry date)?

I don't remember answering questions like these last time when I extended the visa on Jun'20.

Thanks,
PJ

new visa application form (PBS Dependent Partner) in IHS website
use the online application form:
https://apply-to-visit-or-stay-in-the-u ... ytics=true

1 - enter the start and end dates of your partner's last CoS
2 - enter n/a or British Citizen and see if you can proceed

Yes, for the IHS website, you can simply enter today's date and a date of +3 years minus one day. This is just to ensure that you pay the correct IHS fee, which is three years. I applied for my PBS dependent extension just yesterday (my wife is already on ILR now) and I did this same thing.

Thanks. It's the same link, I used to apply. It didn't work.

Thank you. Let me do the same. I will put end date three years from today for both work end date and visa end date questions.
