There was no indication ceremony was contained to Dublin applicants, but only ISD can answer that.

Following the people who got invitation already in this forum (so far only updates are from applicants from 2021), things seem to move with chronological order...

Fingers crossed!

Does everyone (or almost everyone) with payment processed get invited to the next available ceremony?

On this ceremony, I note that previous ones at the Dublin Convention Centre had 3,000 attendees over the course of a day, so hopefully this one should be the same. 8)

Is it confirmed that its just the single day on Tuesday 2nd October? (not a double day like they've done previously)

it only says the 2nd in the update, but it also states that invitations will be received by post, which is inaccurate.

I would say that since they've updated the date, they would mention both days on the website (like 2nd and 3rd); no point saying "it'll be one day" and doing two.

The "almost everyone" is more accurate.
We don't know.
Some people weren't invited to June one, while they were all done with the process. How ISD chooses people to go (or not) is a mystery for us all.

So, for the ceremony I should just:
* print the fidelity to sign it at the ceremony
* bring my passport/travel doc/irp - should I bring all 3? Or only IRP will be enough?

You can't usually have all 3 - either passport or travel doc.
Bring a passport and IRP I'd say, just in case.

I am really happy for the people who are getting invitations and wish them all the best but at the same time, my anxiety is rising as I did not even receive the payment link (My e-vetting process was completed on 26/07/23). I don't think that I will be invited to the October ceremony. fingers crossed.

I also want the same for my wife, so I hope they will have new phase of approvals despite 3 weeks left only (cause seems they do NVB disclosures recently, which can have only value now if they want approve them soon).

It is odd that no one for the past 5 days posted here about getting the invite. So either a lot of people are getting the invite but are not participating on the forum or the Department is not sending invites.

From what I can see on the 2021 applicants page, invitations have already begun to be sent out. On the 2022 and 2023 pages, however, the majority of 2023 applicants have paid their application fees and are awaiting an invitation, while 2022 applicants appear to be making little progress or have stopped contributing to this forum. According to what I have heard, invitations are sent at least two weeks prior to the ceremony.

One thing I would like to point out is that the June ceremony was held over 2 days, whereas there is no indication whether it will be held on Oct 2& 3 at this time. In June, it took 2 days to naturalise 4000 applicants. No chance of repeating the same number if the ceremony is held on a single day!!

As stated in the last customer message we all received, I hope they schedule ceremonies between now and December to naturalise as many as possible.
