I am sorry, but I cannot understand the last four digits discussion here. I was in the 22nd May batch, and my last 4 digits were 3576. What does it really mean? Does this mean that I was applicant 3576 that was processed, but when I completed evetting, my final five digits were 00054? Not sure what connection can be made to this statement.
Sorry mate didnt mean to confuse you. I was just wondering if they had sent these invites in sequence on the 23rd of may and if they were going to process with the same sequence.. For example if they processed you and your last 4 digits were 3576, does that mean that they are going to process the person that is 3568 next and so on..
But its pure speculation! I do not have any insight and I was basically just trying to figure it out. Dont worry about the last four numbers pal :) I am just gonna wait and see :) again apologies for any confusion

New citizenship ceremony will be on 2nd October in Dublin.
Hopefully this will speed up the process a bit..

It's not going to speed anything up. If they wanted to speed things up, they would forgo the need for a ceremony entirely to clear this backlog. All the ceremony does is take time away from some of the same staff to work on and attend these ceremonies, which is therefore time they are not dedicating to processing applications.

How long on average does it take between invitation forwarded to NVB and NVB sending link to start the vetting?? The email notifying me that my invitation is reviewed and forwarded to NVB stated that I’ll have 30 days to complete the application or invitation will expire. Can it actually take NVB more than 30 days to send me the link that my invitation actually expires before I even receive the link?

It usually arrives the next day.
You’ll have 30 days to complete application once you receive mail from NVB.

You should receive the NVB link the next day. Make sure to complete it and send it as soon as you receive it.

Thanks for that. It's been two days and I haven't received the link. I'm also constantly checking the spam folder. I've checked my submitted info on inisonline.jahs.ie to make sure the email is correct. Starting to panic a bit. Is there anyone else who didn't get the link the day after the "forwarded to NVB" email? Should I contact the NVB?

A few people mentioned they had to wait a few days. Give it until the end of next week before worrying about it I'd say.

Hi!
Just got the invitation for e-vetting this morning, all done.
Applied in November 2022 so things are moving fine i presume?
Would you have any idea what is the next step and how long will it take?
Thank you!

Next step - you get a Garda email to complete eVetting itself (or another email from ISD if you messed up in invitation). Fill it out and then you wait again, till approval.

How long - depends. Since there was a huge backlog of people that have received invitations recently, I would give a few months or more.

UPD: checked your posts, you seem to have received Garda vetting itself.
In that case, you'll get an email when your eVettinf result is disclosed to ISD.

Next step is usually approval (but sometimes people are asked to resubmit things). How long will it take - who knows. Some people are waiting from July 2021 to go through the whole process (fron application to approval) and still aren't approved.

Just completed it so all good here…now waiting. Maybe will be in this year’s ceremony? That will be nice 👍

They sent 13000 invitations for eVettting in May '23. You'd have to wait for a few more months if you're at the bottom of the pile, unfortunately.

Or did you get it in May 2022, a year ago?

I’ve just realized we are talking about two separate things but connected:
I’ve got my invitation for vetting in May 2023 after applying for the actual citizenship in November 2022.
Yesterday(14/09/2033) i’ve got the actual vetting form from the NVB/Garda.
Hope this makes sense now.

You APPLIED in November 2022 and already received the NVB evetting link?

It’s really great to see they are going on chronological order.

From the timeline post it seems he is applying as a EU spouse. It seems irish/eu spouse does enjoy the “privilege” to be prioritized

Same here, applied in Nov 2022 and in the same stage with the same date of e-vetting invitation and response. Good things happening, I hope all get sorted soon.
Good Luck to Everyone.

Good for you but not for all of us. I applied September 2022, received the evetting invitation on 22 May 2023 and nothing since, just like many others here. My point is that they don’t even follow their own policies and procedures for going in chronological order.

Can you confirm that E-vetting Invitation is received through email or mail?

If received through email what email is used.

I applied in July 2022 and nothing received yet.
