Work Permit gaps - citizenship application

Hello all,

I have a gap of 8 days between my work permits resulting in a gap of 29 days in my IRP stamps during Oct/Nov 2019 while transitioning from Stamp-1 to Stamp-4. During this gap, my employment continued and I stayed in Ireland.

Also during covid (22-11-2021 to 13-12-2021) I have another gap of 20 days in my Stamp-4 renewals.

Currently the residency calculator shows 2030 days of recknonable residence with both tick marks in Green for me.

My question is, do I need to provide explanations for Work Permit gap and IRP gaps, while submitting my citizenship form?

For first one, should be fine assuming you applied for your renewal ASAP.

Covid gap was covered by blanket extension.

@meself2 - Many thaks for the response. Yes I did apply for renewal even before I got my new work permit.

I'm concerned if I should write an explanatory letter or not. Does anyone have experience of not explaining their gaps with application?
