Switching to skilled worker from tier 1 investor

Post by Saagar555 » Thu Oct 05, 2023 11:58 am

I am on tier 1 investor visa and I have spent 4.5 years approx on it, if I switch to skilled worker visa right now, will it be possible for me to apply for ILR if I send 6 more months on my skilled worker visa or should I have to complete 5 years stay on skilled worker visa to apply for ILR.

Time on any T1 route can be included when calculating the 5 years required for a skilled worker ILR application. See immigration rule SW 21.2(g)

Can the time spent on a Tier 1 investor visa be counted towards the 5 years required for an ILR application under the skilled worker category?
