Foreign Employer

Dear Friends,

Can I work for a foreign employer in UK while under HSMP scheme? I have a job offer from my US employer(no previous branch in UK) to open his company's office in UK and start working. I wonder if it's ok since I'm going to apply for FLR in certain period of time?

Plz advise.

I think this should be fine as long as you are resident in UK and pay full UK resident taxes (ie. do not take advantage of possible tax reduction schemes/etc)
