Renewing passport after Naturalization application

Hi all,

I have applied for my Naturalization using my current passport and still waiting for approval, however I need to renew my passport as it expires soon and I need to travel, do I need to inform UKVI or it doesn’t matter. Thanks

No need to inform UKVI - you are free to travel.

I am aware that I am able to travel, just wondering if I need to inform home office of my new passport number once I renew my passport as my application was done using my current passport which will expire soon.thanks.

No need to inform them, passport was current at the time of application. Your foreign passport number won’t be relevant for citizenship. It’s not an immigration application.

If it was required to update the guidance would say it.
