Help Required Please with Spousal Visa Extension

Have few questions related to spousal visa extension. I was previously on a skilled worker visa but now I have an ILR, whereas my Partner still continues to be on their Skilled Worker Dependent visa.

Q1. For their BRP renewal, does my partner now need to apply under the Skilled Worker Dependent visa category or FLR (M) category?

Q2. How long before their BRP expiry, can they apply for the renewal. So as an e.g. if their Skilled Worker Dependent BRP expires on 15 Nov 2023, when is the earliest they can apply?

Q1. Apply for a skilled worker dependent visa extension. Flr m will reset her ilr clock to zero and a new 5 year route to ilr. Note also, you are not apply for a "brp renewal" which is different to a visa extension.

Q2. You can apply now. It will be a 3 year extension.

Q1. So my Partner can still apply for a skilled worker dependent visa extension, even though I am not a skilled worker anymore after having received the ILR?

Q2. 15 Nov. date was an example, my Partner's dependent visa is up for renewal sometime in Jan/Feb 2024. But please could you quantify in months, how long before their dependent visa expiry, can they apply for the renewal.

I have just checked my Partner's dependent visa expires on 1st March, but we have a travel planned around that time, so ideally we would like to renew as soon as possible because we don't want to pay for priority. So can we apply for their dependent visa renewal right now?

Thank you, and please accept apologies for my ignorance.

For some reason, I thought there must be a timeline to apply before visa expiry just like how it is when you are allowed to apply only 28 days before the ILR qualification date for ILR applications.

But good to know that it isn’t the case with dependent visa application.
